Can I order after the deadline date?

Yes, all images from all graduation ceremonies photographed by Photograds are archived indefinitely and available for order! Any order placed 3 or more weeks after the commencement date is subject to possible price changes and different product availability. These orders are subject to normal delivery times.

My image looks too dark or light. Can you correct this?

If the proof(s) you receive in the mail or see online appear too light or dark, please don't worry. Our image-processing center automatically corrects for exposure (either light or dark) during the printing process. Please note that all photograds.com products come with a 100% money back guarantee.

Can packages be "split" between different images?

Our photo packages are designed to offer you the best value for a competitive price. Therefore, our packages cannot be split between different images

How much cropping will be done on the final picture?

The proof you receive shows 100% of the image we captured at your commencement. All of our prints, regardless of size, are cropped during enlargement. How much depends on the size you are ordering. For example: 5x7 prints are cropped 1/8" from the top and bottom while 8x10 are cropped 1/4" from top and bottom.

When should I expect my print order to arrive?

All orders placed online are shipped within 7 business days of order submission. However, Mail and Fax orders are shipped within 7-10 business days of order receipt. All photograds.com orders are shipped via First Class US Mail from Charlotte, NC in photo protection packaging

It's been over 3 weeks from when I placed my order, where are my pictures?

If your print order has not arrived within three weeks of the date you placed your order, please contact us. Your order may have been returned to us by the postal service for a variety of reasons: unable to deliver, incorrect address or we may not have received your order at all!

I never received a proof order form, how can I order?

Chances are your proof was lost in the mail, we had an incorrect address or possibly no address at all. Simply contact us toll free during office hours (M-F 9:00-5:00 pm. EST) at 866-572-0199. A customer service representative will provide you with the information you need to view and order your pictures.

I received the wrong proof! What should I do?

We do our best to insure that every graduate receives the correct proof. Occasionally an identification error occurs. If this happened to you please contact us immediately. You can help us correct the problem by providing us with the following information:
  • Do you know the person in the proof you received?
  • Were you standing in front of or behind this person?
  • Provide us with a general description of yourself
  • Email or send us photo of yourself
  • Complete contact information
We will research the situation and contact you with corrected information as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this error has caused you.

I did not get all of my order, where is the rest of it?

Unless noted in your package, your entire order should be enclosed in the same mailing. If you have received a partial order, please contact us immediately. We will correct the problem with a rush order to our image-processing center.

My order was damaged during shipping. Can I get it replaced?

Occasionally, mail handlers may damage your prints during the delivery process. If this happens, please return the prints along with a note indicating that they were damage during shipment. We will rush a reprint order to our image-processing center at no cost to you.

Do you offer digital retouching of my picture?

We take each graduate's photo just as he or she is receiving his or her diploma. That's approximately one picture every 2 to 3 seconds. Due to the "candid" nature of our images we are unable to completely control the photography area. Due to this fact there can be "imperfections" in your image. (Swinging tassels, out of place hair, other grads in the near background, etc.) Unfortunately these occurrences are sometimes reality. If you feel strongly about removing or changing something in your image please contact us for a retouching and image manipulation price quote.

How are the photographs printed?

We use a professional color digital Imaging Center. Their expert production staff prints the photographs directly onto Kodak Professional Photo Paper for the highest quality results.

Can I order online without a credit card?

If you don't have a credit card, you can open a free payment account with a checking account and PayPal. For your convenience Photograds.com accepts PayPal payments. Our PayPal ID is paypal@photograds.com.

Can I add text and graphics to my prints?

For many graduation events, photograds.com offers specialized graphic and text overlay options for your image.

Will the photographs I receive have similar quality to the proofs on my computer monitor or on my proof order form?

The proofs you see online and on the mail order forms are screen-resolution representations and are lower quality and resolution than the actual high-resolution images from which all photo enlargements are printed. This "thumbnail" technology allows visitors to our web site to view images, which load quickly, even over slow Internet connections. Photographs printed from our high-resolution images are of the highest print quality.

How will the image be cropped for enlargements?

As photographs are enlarged, the height/width ratio changes, so the print you receive may require cropping from the pictures' edges. Photograds' Imaging Center handles each image individually at the time of printing to determine the best manner to crop images to preserve the shot's appearance. We will soon offer online self-service custom cropping tools to better serve you in this area.

What type of process does photograds use to print photographs?

Photograds' imaging center utilizes state-of-the-art digital processing techniques using silver halide printing equipment. All images are printed on high-quality Kodak Professional Photo Paper

How do you protect your users privacy?

Can I copy or use photographs for publications?

All images are copyright protected by Commencement Specialists Inc. (CSI) and Photograds. You must obtain written permission to copy or publish any materials created by CSI or Photograds. This copyright policy also applies to this Website. Please contact us for your specific requirements

Speed: Orders placed on our Website go into our Imaging Center within 12 hours of the time the order was completed online. Orders placed via fax or the USPS requires 48+ hours to reach the same stage in our Imaging Center.

Our proof order form mailer is limited by space for the amount of packages, services and products offered. Our Website allows for additional photo packages, services which can't be offered on our order form, special products and online specials.

Can my family and friends view my proofs?

Yes, we've even added an easy way to Email your images to your family members and friends. Please note that the Email addresses entered into this "share" system are not kept or used by Photograds for any other purpose.
